When a new client starts with us, they are so fired up and ready to change! They typically make progress right away but after a few months, their fired up motivated attitude tends to fade! Why is that? Reason number 1, they don’t realize where their motivation is coming from. It may feel like it just appeared out of nowhere but actually it came from the quick progress they saw! They were working extra hard and willing to make changes and they were shocked at how good they felt in just a short amount of time! We don’t feel motivated to do the work. We work, see progress and because of the fruits of our hard work, we then feel motivated!
If we plan, pre-log, prep as needed, that will help us be consistent. If we’re consistent, we will see progress. If we see progress, we will feel even more motivated to put in the work! Consistency over time leads to building good habits. When we reinforce those good habits by continuing to do them, eventually this becomes a lifestyle. When it’s a lifestyle, eating well, planning, prepping, etc just become what we do! It becomes who you are! It will then be hard to get off track because you get addicted to feeling good! Food is fuel! Food is medicine when we put the right things in our body! Hope this motivates you to really start planning, prepping and pre-logging! 😉
